I’m Sarah Grace, but most people know me as Dr. Grace. I’m an author, speaker, television host, advisor, biblical counselor, and chaplain, and my work sits at the intersection of media, mental health, and ministry.
My life has been a journey of transformation—from a high school dropout to a three-time honorary doctorate nominee. I earned my GED while pregnant with my first child, attending a school for unwed mothers in the basement of St. Agnes Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. It was there, in a really challenging season, that I prayed a simple prayer: “God, if You’re real, show me who You are, and I will serve You for the rest of my life.” He did. That encounter with Jesus Christ as a result of Christian radion and television started a spiritual awakening and set me on a path of personal transformation that’s continued ever since.
I started sharing my story in storefront churches, then on street corners, and later in halfway houses, homeless shelters, and rehabilitation centers. Those first experiences shaped the way I minister and how I connect with people.
Eventually, my story reached broader audiences. I’ve shared on religious and mainstream media, including TBN and local ABC and FOX affiliates, and now I host my own weekly television program that reaches nearly 100,000 homes
Today, I help people move toward reconciliation with God, spiritual awakening, and personal growth. I guide them in discovering their identity, value, and God-ordained purpose. I also serve as a trusted advisor and clinically informed biblical counselor for individuals from many backgrounds, including leaders and public figures navigating mental, emotional, and spiritual challenges.
I’m a licensed and ordained Elder, officiant, and certified chaplain. My work is grounded in Scripture and lived experience, supported by coursework in theology, ministry, and psychology, plus certifications in coaching, mental health support, advocacy, and chaplaincy. I’ve also been honored with three honorary doctorate nominations in Christian Humane Letters, Divinity, and Professional Leadership.
I was born in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, spent much of my early life in Baltimore, Maryland, which I consider my hometown, and currently live in Nashville, Tennessee, where I attend church and serve as a chaplain.
