Hi, I’m Sarah Grace, best known as “Dr. Grace.” I often say my life is my thesis: I am living proof of what God’s grace can do. I am an author, speaker, television host and producer, advisor, non-clinical Christian counselor, and chaplain.

For many years, “Dr. Grace” was a nickname given to me by others. It was later formally recognized in honor of the transformation I have experienced—from being a high school dropout to receiving three honorary doctorate nominations. After leaving high school, I earned my GED while pregnant with my first child at a school for unwed mothers located in the basement of St. Agnes Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. Everything I have accomplished has been achieved through divine guidance, supernatural grace, perseverance, and resilience.

My journey began with significant early-life challenges that caused me to question my value and lose hope for the future. I began drawing my identity from my struggles, which led to self-destructive behaviors and situations that placed me in danger, eventually resulting in my decision to leave high school. Not long after, an unwed pregnancy became a turning point that forced me to find a reason to live beyond myself. As much as I wanted that pregnancy to mark a new beginning, the lingering threat of my former life catching up with me brought me to my knees in a desperate prayer: “God, if You’re real, show me who You are, and I will serve You for the rest of my life.” ….
