1.1 Sessions with Dr. Grace
For many, the difference between staying where you are are and arriving in the spiritual, personal, and professional place He has called you to is having a guide. Guided By Grace Sessions are my way of assisting others with their own journey’s through my 25+ years of experience pursuing authentic Christian living in every area of life as well as what I have learned about embracing my calling to public life and leadership through being an author, speaker, tv producer and host, and creative. These sessions are also supported my years of experience as a pastor, Biblical counselor, and life and mental health coach, and chaplain with certified training in a number of areas.
There are times in our life where God will align us with someone who has the spiritual insight, Biblical knowledge, and experiential wisdom to guide you out of the life you’ve been living and into the one God has planned for you. A guide helps you see where you are, where you’re going, and how to get there—spiritually, personally, and professionally.
Throughout the Bible, God consistently used guides to lead His people into greater purpose. Moses wasn’t just a leader, he was a guide, helping the Israelites transition from captivity to the promised land. Samuel guided David, not just through mentorship, but through shaping him into a king who would bring Israel to greatness. Elijah didn’t just perform miracles—he mentored Elisha, who went on to do even greater things. Naomi’s guidance helped Ruth emerge from grief and into a season of blessing, and Deborah’s leadership empowered Barak to lead Israel to victory. Paul’s guidance of Timothy set him up to boldly lead the early church with wisdom and strength.
These guides didn’t just give advice—they walked alongside their people, shared wisdom, and provided the support necessary to overcome barriers, doubts, and fears. They helped those they guided navigate transitions, break free from old cycles, and step into the calling God had uniquely designed for them.
In the same way, I’m here to walk with you. Through personalized Guided by Grace sessions, I’ll provide the spiritual insight, Biblical counseling, mental health coaching, and business consulting you need to help you move from where you are to where God is calling you. Yes, my sessions are open to men, women, and teens.
WHAT IS YOUR CONFIDENTIALITY POLICY
All information shared during 1.1 sessions is considered confidential and will not be disclosed to any third party without the participant’s written consent. This includes information shared verbally, in writing, or electronically. Recordings are any kind are prohibited unless mutually agreed and recorded in writing. In the case that permission is granted, recordings are for myself and the client only and not to be shared with others or the general public.
There are limited exceptions to the confidentiality policy:
Mandatory Reporting: If a participant discloses information indicating an imminent threat of self-harm or harm to others, Beyond the Lights is obligated to report this to the appropriate authorities to ensure the safety of all involved.
Legal Requirements: Beyond the Lights may be required to disclose confidential information if compelled by law, court order, or subpoena.
HOW MUCH DO THE 1.1 SESSIONS COST?
$100 for 60 Minutes.
From time to time I also offer free group sessions.
My session fee makes it possible for me to keep this time available on my schedule.
General Policies & Disclaimer
Guided by Grace sessions provide Spirit-led insight, Biblical counseling, mental health coaching, and practical strategies to help you move forward spiritually, personally, and professionally. These sessions are faith-based and not a substitute for clinical mental health services—I do not diagnose, treat, or prescribe. You are responsible for how you apply the guidance given; I offer wisdom, encouragement, and support, but the work is yours to do. Session fees are to honor my time spent and help me maintain availability for appointments. One reschedule is allowed without having to book again; no refunds will be issued. Sessions are private unless disclosure is legally required, such as in cases of risk of harm. By booking, you acknowledge and accept these policies.
